Jose Mourinho Passes His Spurs Interview

JOSE Mourinho is all set to sign for Spurs. Well, he’s passed his own test with Real Madrid’s performance against Barcelona in the Champions’ League. As he told us in 2004:

“I would have been frustrated if I had been a supporter who paid £50 to watch this game because Spurs came to defend. I’m really frustrated because there was only one team looking to win, they only came not to concede – it’s not fair for the football we played.”

football-pigSCARE story of the day comes via the Sun, wherein readers are told that footballers are spreading swine flu:

Three Blackburn players have had the virus including Chris Samba and David Dunn, while four unnamed Bolton stars are sick.

No spitting on order of the HPA, whose spokesman clears his throat:

“Spitting is disgusting at all times. It’s unhygienic and unhealthy, particularly if you spit close to other people. Footballers wouldn’t spit indoors – so they shouldn’t do it on the pitch.”

Islamist Makes Threat To Kill Jose Mourinho

mourinhoTHE Sun leads by asking politicians “Don’t you know there’s a bloody war on?”, while the Star keeps things local: “Muslims: we’ll kill Mourinho.”

FOOTBALL boss Jose Mourinho is living in fear after Muslim nuts threatened to kill him. He is a target for Islamic fundamentalists after blaming a poor display by one of his players on his fasting for Ramadan.

Says Mourinho:

“Muntari had some problems related to Ramadan, perhaps with this heat it’s not good for him to be doing this fasting.”

The player is midfielder Sulley Muntari, the former Portsmouth FC star who used to ply his trade in Israel.

Tactician Jose Mourinho Accused Of Assault

DID Jose Mourinho lose more that his cool when his Inter Milan side lost to Manchester United in the Champions League?

Of course, Mourinho was never cool. He was tetchy and petulant, but thanks to those pauses in speech that make a foreign coach look thoughtful and an English coach thick and his nice scarf Mourinho was considered a spark of genius.
