The media and police are in cahoots:
Kyron Horman’s family spoke to the media this morning.
But not all of them were there:
The missing boy’s father, Kaine Horman, and mother, Desiree Young, invited a group of Portland news organizations to Brooks Hill Historic Church across from Skyline School. Horman said he and Young would talk about the search for Kyron.
He said he would take a short list of questions from each news organization, review them with investigators, then respond later today after a short break
The police need the media. The police seem desperate. Not at that meeting was Terri Moulton Horman. Estranged from Kaine Horman, her husband, and the subject of a whispering campaign, she’s got a lawyer called Stephen Houze.
* Houze works on “a wide spectrum of serious criminal matters,” including “death penalty defenses,” according to his website.
Houze is famous for representing NBA star Damon Stoudamire and Dr. Jayant Patel, an Australian physician the media Down Under dubbed “Dr. Death.”
