Glastonbury: Liam Gallagher ad libs about the smoke machine mid-song

You know how it is. The artist comes on stage. He wants to sing his new stuff but the crowd are there to hear the old faves. But at Glastonbury 2017, Oasis singer Liam Gallagher combined the two to leave everyone happy.

Having introduced his new song Wall Of Glass, Gallagher then moved into Oasis territory with Rock N Roll Star, Don’t Look Back In Anger and What’s The Story?, in which he ad-libbed a new line about a fog machine. “Turn that fucking shit fog machine off,” sings Liam in a departure from the normal lyrics.

The crowd loved it.

Noel Gallagher Wants Liam To Come And Ruin A Perfectly Good Wedding

WARRING siblings, Liam and Noel Gallagher, haven’t seen eye-to-beady-eye since they collectively knocked Oasis on the head. A welcome relief for anyone with ears and at least one brain cell.

And thanks largely to the current crop of indie poppers all being dullards in tight, bollock-rupturing jeans, people still look to these bickering feather-cut headed has-beens for something to write about. With Noel getting married to Who Cares?, thoughts go to the fact that when families get together at a wedding, reunions can sometimes end in fistfights on the car park.

Liam Gallagher’s Help Japan Benefit Concert: Grandstanding Photos

THE Help Japan benefit concert at the O2 Academy Brixton featured event organiser Liam Gallagher, Paul Weller, Kelly Jones of the Stereophonics, Richard Ashcroft, The Coral and Primal Scream. This was a one-off gig last night in aid of relief efforts for victims of the Japan earthquake and tsunami.

Said Gallagher:

“Whenever that kind of stuff happens, it’s not good, is it? It’s not just because we’re popular in Japan. As a human, you just think it’s heavy. We’ve always had close ties with Japan and great affection for our fans out there. Our hope is that this benefit concert can help the people of Japan.”

In Pictures Exclusive: Sacha Baron Cohen Launches New Character In Cannes

NO, it’s not Sacha Baron Cohen’s latest character, Nige, a 1960s-obsessed mini cab driver from Melton Mowbray. It’s Liam Gallagher at a photocall to promote his newly formed production company, In 1productions, which will develop a film about The Beatles, at the Gray D’Albion beach, Cannes. Unless it is Sacha Baron Cohen, in which case, Heather Mills is shoo-in to play Penny Lane, the woman who made it all possible…

Liam Gallagher Flogs His Pretty Green Clothes, In Pictures

OASIS singer Liam Gallagher has launched his new clothing range, Pretty Green, in Selfridges. Is this nominative determinism? Pretty Green… “You’d be pretty green to buy Liam Gallagher’s wardrobe when you can get the John Lennon look at an Army & Navy store. Still, here’s Liam plugging his schmutters in pictures – you can now pay a lot of money to look like Liam Gallagher trying to look like John Lennon:

Oasis Announce Reunion Gig

1031419OASIS have split up, gone to that great reunion-waiting-to-happen in the sky. No, Oasis are not dead. The Gallagher brothers are alive. No Michael Jackson-style presription medication for them – just good old fashioned preservatives and pickling. Says Noel Gallagher:

“It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer. Apologies to all the people who bought tickets for the shows in Paris, Konstanz and Milan.”

Sounds not a lot unlike a hissy fit. Indeed, given the band’s changing line up over time, we could soon have two Oasis, or Oases.

And what of Noel Gallagher, who is now seen less often as a musician than on an advertorial for Sky TV or popping up on Match of the Day to say how tough Manchester City fans used to be and patting Ricky Hatton on the back

Oasis Hit The Stars

GORDON Smart, Oasis PR man and Sun columnist, make use of the asterisk in a piece on Noel Gallagher.

Oasis are planning a tour, and of late the Sun has been full of stories about Noel saying this one is a ***, another one is ***-**** and so-and-so is a complete **** ****p** *ll***g.
