Lost star gets charged with DUI… and it isn’t his first brush with boozy bother

YOU may have watched Lost or Party Of Five, looked at Matthew Fox and thought ‘he seems like a nice man… a nice, hunky, stubbly dreamboat of a man’. Well, there’s a strong whiff of booze around him which suggests otherwise.

See, it has been reported that Fox has been charged with two misdemeanours, one of driving under the influence (DUI) and the second, driving without a licence. He got arrested and everything! He was pulled in by the long arm of the law in the early hours of last Friday after an officer noticed his vehicle wasn’t signalling properly… or staying in lane with traffic… and generally being vehicularly erratic. Turned out he’d been drinking.

REMEMBER Lost? That was a stupid, entirely pointless television programme wasn’t it? Random numbers, that fat fella with the corkscrew curls and a polar driving a tank or whatever it was. It was like wandering into a particularly confusing, tedious daydream.

Do you remember the hunkbag star of the show, Matthew Fox? The one who was also in Party Of Five (Dawson’s Creek for hipsters). He seemed like a nice enough bloke – that is until he was accused of punching a bus driver right on her mons pubis.

YOU may not know the name Doug Hutchison and indeed, may look at his face and think ‘Uh… maybe… was he in… wait… no… that’s someone else. Go on, what has he done?’ Well, if by ‘done’ you mean ‘roles as an actor’, then he was in The Green Mile and Lost.

However, if you mean ‘done’, as in, ‘gone and married a 16 year old beauty queen’, then Doug is your man! You see, he’s gone all Jerry Lee Lewis and decided to hitch up with someone he legally can’t have sex with in loads of US States.

The Lost Ending Pinata: The Stolen Tapes Revealed

LOST ends tonight. Or does it…? The show that began as drama and ended up as a celebrity travelogue reaches its finale at 9p this Sunday night. Right now the writers are working out what the hell to do, and getting bak those stolen tapes. You know, those tapes that contain the truth?

Anyone interested in being up with the buzz, like this chaps, are watching 121 episodes back-to-back in their institution.

Lost is a victim of its own popularity. Had this been a show that failed to score a big hit the finale could have been a rubbish packet of warm fudge.

The writers create the show they like; and the fans demand a pay off. But the writers don’t have the killer clincher. They just have a show, a TV thing without end.
