So, Melanie Philips and Barbara Hewson: what percent of paedophiles read the Daily Mail?

daily mail all grown up

MELANIE Phillips dips her toe into the Barbara Hewson ‘scandal’ (the barrister called for the age of consent to be reduced to 13 and offered non-mainstream views on Operation Yewtree, the Met’s investigation into historical sex abuse sparked by Jimmy Savile post-death revelations). She writes:

…in any event, the age of consent has been progressively eroded. Irresponsible teenage magazines — which are read by much younger children — endlessly promote a bordello menu of sexual activity.

Schools dish out contraception and abortion advice to pubescent children — advice blessed by paediatricians, who claim that if a child is old enough to ask for it, she is old enough to give her meaningful consent.

For photos of “sexy” underage girls who didn’t give their consent see the Daily Mail here , here, here, here and here.

Wonder what per cent of paedophiles read the Mail?

The Daily Mail’s staff meetings must be wonderful…

Melanie Phillips writes an open letter to the Daily Mail Reporter

MELANIE Phillips sets out to prove that not every one at the Daily Mail is all that into perving at kids. Just like those Sun readers whom we are told skip quickly over Page 3, Phillips might not spend long looking at the Mail’s website, which features photo-led stories on children, like fashion icon Suri “all grown up” Cruise (she’s 6),  “curvy” Elle Fanning (14), and underage girls Chloe MoretzLourdes (Madonna’s daughter) and Bella Thorne.  To the Mail’s eyes, they all “look older“.

You can see the Daily Mail Reporter in the dock. He eyes the Beak: “Honestly, your honour. I thought she was older.”

Penguins Spread Gay Epidemic Says Daily Mail

MELANIE Phillips wants to talk about the gays. She wants to warn you about fraternising with gay penguins.

Here’s a question shortly coming to an examination paper near you. What have mathematics, geography or science to do with homosexuality?

Anyone who is good at them is gay? Heterosexuals are better at history, English and French? Of course we need to see the data, but that’s our hunch. People who get a C grade or better (surely worse? – ed) at GCSE Greek are bisexual. Fact. Go on…

For, mad as this may seem, schoolchildren are to be bombarded with homosexual references in maths, geography and science lessons as part of a Government-backed drive to promote the gay agenda.

In geography, for example, they will be told to consider why homosexuals move from the countryside to cities.

To get a job at the BBC? Because all gays are born in the countryside, which makes you gay; and in the city the gays can be more easily bombed by Nazis and the Taliban? But the best bit is yet to come. We talk, of course, of penguins:

In science, they will be directed to animal species such as emperor penguins and sea horses, where the male takes a lead role in raising its young.

Baby P: Socialist Liberal Conservatives To Blame And Sterilising The Guilty

BABY P Watch: Anorak’s at-a-glance look at Baby P in the news

THE SUN (front page): “SOCIAL WORKERS NEW SHAME”

When a tortured and murdered baby isn’t shaming enough…

“BABY P GRAN: I WARNED HARINGEY”

Says she: “They didn’t want to know.”

The last photo of blond, blue-eyed Baby P — taken days before he was found dead in his blood-spattered cot

Blonde…

On page 5, the Sun produces a petition. It’s already been written: “All blonde children with blue-eyes should be saved first and…” Or:

“I believe that ALL the social workers involved in the case of baby P, including Sharon Shoesmith, Maria Ward, Sylvia Henry and Gillie Christou should be sacked and never allowed to work with vulnerable children again”.

Meanwhile, Baby P’s mother is free to have more children, and so too his step-dad and lodger Jason Owen. Discuss…

“…I also demand that the doctor involved with Baby P, Sabah Al Zayyat, should lose her job and not be allowed to treat the public again.”

Says the grandmother: “I blame myself.” Can she be banned from being a grandma?

But one local has produced her own petition. Stephanie Biber has plastered a poster to the windows of the Hornsey and Wood Green Labour Party headquarters. The legend runs:

“Sharon Shoesmith you have blood on your hands. Council tax payers of Haringey refuse to pay council tax until Sharon Shoesmith is sacked.”

Says Ed Balls, the swivel-eyed Education Secretary:

“People are asking how these despicable acts of evil can happen in this day and age and in Haringey of all places.”

Yeah, the bucolic splendour of one of the most impoverished, dirty, depressing places in the entire country. If there, then anywhere…

TREVOR KAVANAGH: “Leftie Mafia close ranks over Baby P”

P is for Politics…

Journalists Paid By Number Of Paris Hilton Mentions

ARE newspapers to pay journalists by the number of comments their words receive on the web?

PETER Wilby, writing in the Guardian, considers the state of British newspapers in light of Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross’s telethon:

Even the Mail – perhaps reluctant to go overboard on a story broken by a Sunday in the same house – didn’t make it the splash, though it ran a front-page picture of Brand and inside, Melanie Phillips gave her usual imitation of a Victorian dowager who has overdosed on laudanum.
