Merthyr Rugby Team Runs Over Fan With Lawn Mower

THE female rugby fan who suffered head injuries after being crushed by a metal lawn roller as she slept in a tent, has been released from Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth.

Police arrested 21 men from the Merthyr area after the mowing at Aberaeron Rugby Club in Ceredigion, where a sevens festival was taking place.

As a result Merthyr Youth Team had been thrown out of the competition.
