Michael Phelps to be stripped of gold medals?
NO-ONE has won more Olympic golds than Michael Phelps. He’s probably won more golds than most Olympic countries have won in their history. However, things are looking a little uncertain this week. See, Phelps’ 19 gold medals may diminish in number after he got chosen to front a new advertising campaign for Louis Vuitton.
The Olympic committee have a rather large beef with advertising, don’t they?

Danica Patrick’s Tattoo At ESPY Awards
TO the annual ESPY Awards in which US sports channel ESPN puts the media at the centre of sporting excellence, bestowing awards to people who spend their lives collecting awards in an actual competition, featuring Danica Patrick (Vrmmm), Shawn Johnson (yer honour), Mike Tyson (Grrr), Michael Phelps (who, me?) and the Williams sisters (Wahhhhhhmph!)
No awards yet for Fittest Sportsman, Best Branded Merchandise or Sexiest Tennis Grunt, but awards are given for such Corinthian criteria as Best Sports Movie and Best Female/Male Action Sports Athlete, a reaction to all those inactive sports.

CERRIE Burnell, a new presenter on the CBeebies channel, is missing the lower part of her right arm. Like Miley Cyrus, Beyonce, Michael Phelps and Cristina Aguilera – and more showbiz greats – Cerrie has a deformity.

Michael Phelps deprived of ideal munchies
YESTERDAY, Kellogg announced it wouldn’t renew its sponsorship deal with bong-happy Olympian Michael Phelps, saying his behavior is “not consistent with the image of Kellogg”. And so Phelps will no longer appear on Kellogg’s cereal boxes.
