Nancy Dell’Olio remembers the glamour WAGS of Baden-Baden

THE WAGS have arrived in Krakow for the European Championships. It’s not World Cup 2006. It’s not Baden Baden. Nancy Dell’Olio has noticed, telling Sun readers:

“We were so glamorous in Baden Baden… It wasn’t how we dressed. It was a state of mind.”

We cast out minds back to those days when the shoppers were in town:

Coleen screamed out: ‘Rooney, Rooney!’, Elen Rives chanted: ‘Super Frank, super Frankie Lampard!’, Lisa Roughead shouted: ‘There’s only one Michael Carrick!’ and Michaela Henderson-Thynne sang: ‘There’s only one Stewart Downing!’As the night went on, the songs became ruder, with a refrain about the absence of Miss Dell’Olio, who had refused to go to the club – ‘Where the f*** is Nancy?’

Glamour models, one and all…

Nancy Dell’Olio Knows You Find Her Fascinating

NANCY Dell’Olio tells Hello!:

“There has to be a reason why I’ve been the centre of attention for the past ten years in this country.”

Indeed. But what is it? We would ask Madeleine McCann or Princess Diana. We might ask Osama bin Laden or Tony Blair. But instead we ask ourselves? Why?

“People probably find something very fascinating or interesting about me and I’m quite pleased about that.”

In Pictures: Thinking Zac Goldsmith For Recognise Magazine Launch

EVERYONE was thinking Zac Goldsmith at the launch of Recognise magazine, it being what the press release dictated. At Crystalized, we spotted Liz McClarnon, Nancy Dell’Olio, Michelle Mone, Karen Millen, Emma Noble, Jaya, Sara Cawood, Tamara Ecclestone and Victoria Hart.

Yep, who better than Bernie Ecclestone’s daughter – Bernie runs the Formula 1 circus – to grace a magazine “defined by a commitment to finding brands that are dedicated to environmental stewardship and social responsibility”?

Nicole Kidman’s Balloon And An Inflated Penelope Cruz Present The Nine Premiere In Photos

AT the “world premiere” of Nine at the Odeon Leicester Square (unless you downloaded it and had your own premiere in Surbiton), the great and good brave the cold and drizzle to be seen. It was an odd mix of talent – Dame Judi Dench, Daniel Day Lewis, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman (they say she keeps a balloon on a stick in a secret loft), Kate Hudson and the people who the producers need to fill the cheap seats – Camilla Dallerup, Ricky Groves, Natasha Kaplinsky, Brian Friedman, Bruno Tonioli and Nancy Dell’Olio. We’ve got pictures:
