Noel Fielding Searched By Camden’s Celebrity Police Force

THE Celebrity Police Force have been meeting with Noel Fielding, The Mighty Boosh’s Vince Noir. Reports are that Fielding was spotted with an “alleged dealer” in Camden Town (i.e. anyone aged between 16 and 92) and given a full body search at the local station. No drugs were found on his person.

And after meeting a few of the starry-eyed coppers, he was sent on his way…

In Pictures: Katie Price, Alex Reid And Other Funny People At The Channel 4 Comedy Gala For Doggers

KATIE Price and Mr Toffee Crisp, Alex Reid went along to the Channel 4 Comedy Gala, in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital, at the O2 Arena. Comedy and charity.

One so compromises the other. Comedy for good causes is to hideously unfunny. Comedy for terrible causes is better. A fundraiser for doggers or The Royals. Pictures:

In Pictures: Noel Fielding’s Eyeball Presents The Teenage Cancer Trust Comedy Night

NOEL Fielding was on stage for the Teenage Cancer Trust comedy night gig at the Royal Albert Hall. How else do you follow Them Vultures? Also there were Rhod Gilbert, Tommy Tiernan, Kevin Bridges, Jason Manford the ubiquitous Jimmy Carr but not Jerry Sadowitz

Fielding spotted his own hair:

I asked for Kurt Cobain but I got [Moors murderer) Myra Hindley, fuck you,” he declared as he arrived onstage before adding: “I am all The Police, I couldn’t even pick one. If Gary Numan fucked Andy Pandy, this is what (the offspring) would look like.”

There were jokes about Susan Boyle and Mark Owen but not Sean Penn – which was a pity because the man is a gift to cancer comedy…

Stella McCartney Hires The Mighty Boosh To Switch On Her Lights, In Photos

WHEN we saw the invite to see Stella McCartney turn on the Christmas lights, we thought Paul McCartney’s daughter was turning on the Oxford Street lights, the ones that make it better to see shoplifters. But no, Stella was turning on the lights in her shop, something one imagines she or an underling does every day.

Helping her to turn on the lights were Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt of The Mighty Boosh, who flipped the switch to the thrill of such passers by as Lulu, Kate Moss, Pam Hogg, Twiggy, Jamie and Louise Redknapp and Paul McCartney. Katie Price is available for when the lights need turning off. The pictures:

7784999THE trailers for BBC music panel show Never Mind the Buzzcocks features a person who looks not a lot unlike The Mighty Boosh’s Noel Fielding – the Noel Fielding of whom the Sun’s Gordon Smart wrote:

Noel Fielding has been axed as team captain on the next series of Never Mind The Buzzcocks. The Clown Prince had been signed up as a regular on the long-running BBC comedy panel show. But when details of his drug taking emerged over the weekend, Beeb top brass withdrew the offer – Gordon Smart (August 17, 2009)
