IN Plymouth, tragedy has struck, literally. Casper the commuting cat is dead. Casper the commuting cat has been hit by a – oh, irony of ironies – a car.
Says the Plymouth Herald:
A MUCH loved Barne Barton cat who gained international acclaim has sadly died after being hit by a car.
As Anorak writer AGW puts it:
Pathos, tragedy, grief and above all – local.
I can see the News Editor: “That Haiti stuff’s a long way from Plymouth Dockyard.”
