We know there’s not a lot to do in Essex but – nineteen year old Ryan Clarey surpassed himself in making his own fun – he’s just been taken in for questioning by the police for hacks on Sony, the CIA and the NHS. That hack on Sony being the biggest theft of personal data so far in internet history.

Obama Will Do His Own Tweets – Party Warns Him Not To Twitpic His Erections

NOW that he needs the votes, Barack Obama is promising to tweet more – himself. After a long period where even the underlings hired to tweet for his official account seemed to get bored by their own copied-and-pasted press releases, Obama is back on the social media warpath and is going to tell us some stuff, on Twitter.

While his speeches were widely admired, the Obama tweets – and Facebook updates – have been much less than inspiring. In fact, they’ve been really dull. Will Obama himself really manage to liven them up?

Hackers Attack Sony Again – This Time Just For Lulz

HACKING Sony databases is turning into some kind of after-school activity. Just weeks after they lost millions of credit card details (2.2m at current count) – Sony have been hit by another hack- this time from a group known as LulzSec.

Claiming to be annoyed by the Sony’s poor data protection, they swiped the passwords of 1 million users of the Sony Pictures film-rental service in the US.

When Muthanna Aldebashi Met Joshua Kafman’s Computer: The Stolen Macbook Mystery

SO. Who is the guy who has Joshua Kaufman’s stolen Macbook – the one that went missing from his Oakland, California, apartment on March 21, 2011? The story goes that Kaufman had installed an app called Hidden that emables him to remotely turn on his webcam. He used it. And he saw photos of a man. to help him identify the Macbook’s new owner, Kaufman started a tumblr site called thisguyhasmymacbook.tumblr.com. the police got involved. And Muthanna Aldebashi has been arrested for possession of Kaufman’s property. Here he is:

Thirty Years Ago The Delorean Car Was Born

THIRTY years ago, the first DeLorean DMC-12 rolled off the production line in Londonderry, Antrim. The car was the brainchild of General Motors’s John Zachary DeLorean. He would build an affordable European 125mph sports car that would also sell well in the States. He would build it in Belfast, where unemployment was rife. He would make it out of stainless steel – it would not rust for 20 years! It would have gull wings.

The styling was epic. But the technology was flawed. When things did not go well, the Thatcher government pumped in 30m of public money, on top of the £50 the previous Jim Callaghan regime has invested.

IT does. A SURVEY showed that if you’re a “college guy” who frequently refers to alcohol or posts pictures of it up on your Facebook profile you have more friends than someone else who doesn’t.

Though conventional wisdom suggests that telling everyone on Facebook how slammed you got last Friday is a bad idea…. It may actually show that you’re just a chilled dude who likes beer and good times and could help you get friends.
