Howard is irrelevant. He thinks it's 1998 and he still matters. At this point, that douchey Glenn Beck has more pull than this has-been.

Stern's been touting the Indian and the 11 year old girl vote for Sanjaya for a solid three weeks.

And as far as his "powerful PR company"...

Have you ever listened to the Stern show? When he wants a press release he calls an AP reporter live on the air and tells him what he wants to tell him. 10 minutes later exactly what Howard said on the air ends up as an AP article that gets picked up other news organizations. Howard is famous for not issuing press releases or doing press at all off-air. Infact his reps are famous for refusing to issue statements or even return phone calls from reporters looking to validate stories.

It's on-air or it's not at all. Howard Stern is covered because he's famous. VERY famous. And he makes a hell of a villain.

This is on the main website of Mr. Stern's site:
~~~
By promoting Mr. Malakar, Mr. Stern says, he hopes to turn the talent competition into a farce and destroy its popularity.
My question is: WHY?
I don't believe this site is hurting American Idol, but I do believe it's hurting a sweet, talented 17 year old boy who's shown an awful lot of courage these past weeks. Sanjaya may not have the strongest voice, but he can certainly sing; he's loaded with personality he's handsome, and he's a good performer. I hope he makes it into the top 3. And it won't be because of this site: it will be because enough people like him. I like him. Good luck, Sanjaya!
