Find Madeleine McCann: Bring Madeleine Home
“SICK web hijackers cash in on Madeleine,” says the Mail’s front-page headline.
“The desperate search for Madeleine McCann has been hijacked by conmen cashing in on her family’s heartache,” says the paper.
Are these conmen asking for donations for the fighting fund and then pocketing the cash? No.
The Mail sees that websites utilising the name Madeleine McCann have been created. The official Madeline McCann website has received 70million visits, says the paper.
And these other websites – unofficial and unendorsed by Madeleine’s family – have been created to attract unwary web users and earn the owners money via advertising.
The official sites can be found at: www.findmadeleine.com or www.bringmadeleinehome.com.
And not at www.madeleinemccann.com or www.helpmadeleine.com, both of which have pictures of Madeleine, appeals for help in finding her and no advertising.
How did the Mail stumble upon these bogus sights? A search for Madeleine McCann on Google does not give them up easily. All we get is a link to the official site.
The Mail may well not be the official Madeleine McCann newspaper and website – even if news of the missing girl sells papers and keeps its advertisers happy – but it is not unofficial.

I am sure the Portugese Police are using their best resources but would it not be best if FBI professionals, profilers and forensic experts be brought into this case to accelerate this little girls return.

I really, truly hope the wee girls turns up fine. That said, there’s a number of things that just aren’t right.
Like why they never bothered taking a nanny or relative, or even using the complex’s service. Plus, for me, the father certainly seems too comfortable in interviews, not in denial, not bottling it in, not angry. If it was me… O.o His wife at least look upset. Not sure what he meant, but one of my friends thought he was a reptoid, because of his seemingly blaze commentary!
I wouldn’t even begin to comment on the working of the Polícia Judiciária, but given my experience with gross encompetance with some English police if just doesn’t surprise me.

I think it’s simple and stupid…
Maddie must’ve just woken up, found her mum not in the room, and gone down to the beach and probably drowned herself. Don’t you think this is what happened… I mean she was only 3 yrs old… And why would you leave a 3 yr old by themself in a room (Appartment) anyway. And they should’ve secured the windows and doors shut aswell.

i think people should stop moaning about all the attention this is getting and just be greatful it is and maybe this will be the start and all future cases will get this much attention, which will hopefully make child snatchers think twice about taking children

Dear mcann family i do hope that you do find her my throughts and prayers are with you both in the event that ye do find her. But one question has not been answered why for god sake where does three kids left on there own these days you dont leave kids on their own there is alot of weird and sick people out there the world has changed so much
