Okay, maybe this guy is a hoaxer, but he seems to have some pretty detailed information and seems quite relentless.

He also seems to be very reluctant to discuss names with the police - doesn’t he trust the police? If not why not? Previous experience?

Is this guy just a crazy off the street, whose day job is a bog cleaner at macdonalds?

For a hoaxer, this one is very vocal, not shy and good at spinning an elaborate yarn.

he is either telling the truth, or he is very mentally ill. To carry out a hoax in the first place is an odd thing to do, nevermind one of this magnitude. Doesn;t your average hoaxer just send an anonymous letter, like your wearside Jack? This guy is NOTHING like wearside Jack. Throwing the police off the scent for fun is a crazy thing to do. Giving your name, address, photo, CV and a history of your knowledge of ‘high soceity’ paedophilia involvement is different altogether.

To be honest, at the moment I’m inclined to think thiis guy knows stuff and for some reason the Spanish police are desperate to dismiss him as a loony.

Funnily enough, the Spanish police ‘categorically denied’ receiving a phonecall from a man claiming to know where madeleine was.

We then hear that the portugeue police confirm that a call was made to the spanish police by an argentinian criminal who was demanding 500K for information.

Why did the Spanish deny receiving that call, when eve the McCanns themselves have confirmed that they were contacted by Police advising them of the call?

The Spanish ‘police spokesperson’ is either away with the fairies or simply telling the taboids anything to prevent the truth of the investigation getting out. Not necessairly a bad thing, but they have already been exposed as liars this week.

Mark, if the missing children can’t be found by experienced police officers, please tell us how we can hope to succeed where these others have failed? Do we look for kiddies kitted out in Masonic aprons, gathered in clumps and exchanging secret handshakes?

I just dunno about the “we” needing to regain control; however, Mark, there are quite a few antipsychotic drugs available which would help you to gain control of yourself.

I am loath to recommend any one particular drug, as there are many medications which target specific delusions, but your general practitioner would be able to prescribe something or will refer you to a specialist.

Should you decide to shun the NHS and its traditional methods and opt instead for ‘new age’ healing, be prepared for slow, slow progress and more than a few disheartening setbacks.

Many consider new-age healing to be delusional in itself, and I recommend that you seriously consider locking up your sharp knives and pointy scissors if you do choose to go that route.

Wow! what a lot of hairbrained theories going on here. Those who chose to regularly leave three under-four-year-olds unsupervised and alone in an unlocked apartment as they ate in a restaurant 300-plus feet away are the ones who are at fault here.

Had they not left them alone and unsupervised (and they could have availed themselves of the free child-minding services provided by the vacation resort), then this could not have happened.

Antonio Toscana may not have any information at all and just be a hoax but the fact that he is not discussing any names of the people he thinks are involved even with the police is a good idea! The spanish police say they do not recognise him, he seems to have a lot of information to share and i think he should be listened to!
If all the possible links and information of this case had not been made so public then Madeleine might have been found more easily. I am not saying her disappearence should not be spoke of, but there should have been a limit to the amount of imformation regarding her whereabouts that should not have been publicised! It should have been left to her family and the police.
If the name of this possible lead had been released before police could investigate it further the person/persons involved would only hide themselves better!

Where is Toscanno now. Is he still living? What about the big pedeo ring that got busted and one of them in particular was spanish and had quite a substantial amount of it. Where in Spain was he from? Now, they are accused of that and look at the coverage it recieved. Very very little.
