Madeleine McCann: The Media Trial
MADELIENE McCann is missing. Still missing. And the media is filtering the speculation. And we find this on the Anorak comment pages:
Is the treatment of a missing person now hackneyed? Has it lost the power to shock?

My experiance with death is that the concept of time changes. My mother died nearly unexpected and I had great difficulties to accept time going by.I wanted to be close to the last day I saw her alive.Watchig the calender, 2,4,9,11, weeks going extremely fast, that was hurtful.I experienced the same when a boy-friend broke up with me, I could not stand losing him and I did not want to be confronted with ther distance in time, the last day I had seen him.I always tried to make the distances in time much shorter. When my father died, very much expected, I was already ready with grieving and mourning. I just wanted desperately that time on the calender would go by, very fast but it did not happen.Actually it went very slowly.
On that last intervieuw of the Mccanns (Spanish TV), both talked about “6 months without Madeleine” and it is not yet november the 3rd. Normally spoken, they would have tried to make time shorter, not willing to be that far from her.Once they admited to the PJ that she could be dead. They know she is.They insisted on the 6 months.
Do they want to get rid of the past, making May the 3rd a very -long- ago- day, was one of them prepared for her disappearence? Or do they just want to say”for us it is already 6 months ago, so much we are missing her”.They must have been instructed by Mitchel.

Comment on a news paper in Portugal, about the “abductor” discribed by Jannet Tanner :”My goodness, he looks exactly like his father”.

The media has been so completely bias toward the McCanns by painting them almost as saints. They are beginning to feel the fallout which they deserve. The McCanns are suspects for very solid reasons and more and more each day, I believe they had something to do with the disappearance of Madeleine. No amount of media propaganda will change my opinion. So tough luck, media. The ball was in your court and you badly fumbled it, time after time, for nearly six months. You underestimated your audience and their ability to logically think for themselves. I could give a list of facts that point to the McCanns culpability in Madeleine’s disappearance followed by a series of very strange unprecedented Gerry & Kate behaviors but it’ll only be met with with distain from a couple of the supporters they have left, so why bother. Team McCann members, hope you’re asking for raises from the boss, Gerry, because you sure are working hard at dousing comments like mine, here and on forums, blogs and
discussion boards.
If Kate and Gerry don’t want to be criticised they should back off the PR attempts either blatantly delivered by that hired moron Clarence Mitchell and/or any other members of the McCann team. Or at least, leak something believable.

Some posters seem to be unaware that this video was broadcast on the BBC in 2003.

I think it was funny. It’s not mocking victims, it’s mocking the clichés that have evolved around murder cases.

What was the point of brining in cadaver dogs if the results are dismissed? How much longer will it take for the DNA analysis to be announced by the Birmingham forensic team? Do we just wait until all results amount to what the McCanns would like?
