The Queen Brings Sarkozy To Elevated Heels
HER Majesty is meeting with M. Sarkozy:
All this is dressed up in glowing terms as, “a new Franco-British brotherhood,” with Nick telling us that we ought to get together as “we have the same enemies throughout the world.” Not quite right is that.
He forgot to count the French.

Maybe he didn’t forget the French, I dont think they like him much either.
But lets not forget that Gordon is a Scotsman and the Scots and the French were allied against the English.
I once watched a game of football (World Cup, someone - I forget who - against France)in a bar at Glasgow airport. It was the French the Scots were supporting.

The point about the French is — we beat them.
Over and over again, Agincourt, Poitiers, Waterloo you name it.
Until the point where we had to go in to rescue them. Twice.
