Why is this stupid? Because it undermines the possibility of a genuinely UK imam corps being cultivated. Why is that bad? I’m not even going to bother to spell that out. The other problem is that the government is actually perpetuating the idea that Islam is a foreign thing which needs a foreign fix. This is bad for integration.

where does Ms Smith get these ideas from?
Do they come in a dream? Extrapolated from tea leaves? Or does she dress up in bourhka and tour the mosques up and down the country on Fridays?
