Donald Tusk Says Poland Is Crap
NEW Polish Prime Minister, Donald Tusk says of Poland:
We have no oil and gas. We don’t have high tech. Our centers of development, are far, far behind others. We will never be an extraordinary tourist attraction. Poland is quite a mediocre country in some regards. The only natural resource that we have, and with which we can compete, is freedom.

No surprise. It is now a common pattern that people in the former socialist countries of central and eastern Europe now realize what they lost when their leaders, in a media-inspired frenzy, rushed to dump the socialist frameworks that guaranteed them the means for life for some elusive Hollywood/Washington-inspired mirage of “freedom.” Can you feed your family with “freedom?” Can you provide childcare when you need to work with “freedumb?” Can you provide life-sustaining health care with this “freedumb?”
The people of eastern and central Europe are now finding out!

And you think we are not serfs, we are the tools of our political ruling classes, whither you realise it or not.

But at least we have T.V.
And Amy Winehouse. You wouldn’t get that in the Soviet Union.

Joaquin Duran : Can you feed your family with “freedom?”
Surely, if you can do business freely, you can feed your family. You either have no bloody idea what the whole “socialist” thing was, or you’re just simply an idealist without imagination.
Joaquin Duran : “The people of eastern and central Europe are now finding out!”
We never lost our “child care” or “life-sustaining health care”. There were two or three years when the GDP was smaller, but since then, that is for the last 16 years, things are getting better. Not only on paper, I can see myself that I can afford more and more.
If you miss that sick system so much, I suggest you visit Cuba, and see how “happy” Cubans are, with their vaccination programs “better than Amerika”, with their “equality for all”, etc.
