Gordon Brown’s In A Worse Msess Than Afghanistan

THE Mail’s Benedict Brogan reports on Gordon’ BRown’s press confernce with Hamid Karzai:

“…the visit had a routine flavour for Gordon Brown, livened up only by Hamid Karzai, who was evidently bemused by the way British broadcasters all asked questions about the PM’s troubles without even a mention of Afghanistan or the British effort there. “Cabinet ministers plotting is nothing new. We have that in Afghanistan too. But not my foreign minister.”

Yikes!

David Cameron went to Afghanistan and spoke at length to the troops there.
Gordon Brown went to Afghanistan and spoke to the troops there, conveniently on his way to a 5 day ‘all expenses paid’ party at the Olympics in Peking, where he will see very little proper sport, but will experience the end of Olympics ‘ceremony’.

Just as well really, since he won’t be around for 2012.

    Or 2009 ?
