So sad, a great loss for rock and roll. His swirls and fills, his psycedelic cleansing of your soul with his keyboard mastery will be sadly missed. I guess David Gilmour’s comments last week were tragically prophetic. Shine on you crazy diamond!

I met Richard several times here in Antigua and had the privilege of sailing on his beautiful S&S swan 65 several times with the captain and mate. It will be very sad to see this boat leaving our island as i imagine the family will no longer use her. Richard was a gentleman who loved to sail what more can i say. Good times in Valhalla my friend

As I sit in my office decorated with all sorts of PF artifacts, my heart is heavy and you will be sorely missed on this earth Mr. Wright. You brought so much to the enormous sound of Pink Floyd. Your music is unlike any other and means the world to me. Happy am I that I saw you perform 3 times yet I am saddened that my dream to see you with your mates all together is crushed….Godspeed

I saw Pink Floyd in my hometown of Buffalo New York in the early 70’s. A chap I played in a band with named Doug Graham introduced us to the Floyd boys. Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd changed my entire realm of music. David Gilmour, Richard Wright, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, John Bonham, Robert Plant and a host of others influenced our lives and brought to America music that today has never been duplicated. God Bless you Mr. Wright and all of those you will join.

I’m not sure that I approve of Anokra recording this but overlooking Bo Diddley earlier this year; on the other hand it’s an excuse to get out the headphones…

RIP Richard Wright. Say hello to Syd. Playing DSOTM as loud as I can manage without constabulary kicking the door in. Thanks for all the amazing music.
