Gordon Brown On Me, Myself And I, I, I And I
FRANK Luntz’s hears Gordon Brown talks about Me, Myself and I, I, I, I..:
He still doesn’t get it. In his open sentence he uses ‘I’ four times. Incredible. He still doesn’t realize that it’s not about him. It’s about the British people and what they want for the future. Blair understood that the people come first. Brown still thinks he comes first.”
He is Leader Number One.

But amidst all the I, I, I stuff was the old fashioned ’socialist’ - Promise them the earth, get their votes, then tax them to death.
700 m for computers for families who haven’t got one (But it is the end of the “something for nothing” Society in another paragraph).
Aimed at the children of poor parents.
1 million x 700 pounds
1 Has anyone mentioned this to BT ? Another million broadband lines by April 2009 if you please !
2 Who pays the line rental ?
3 Does it include a printer ? It surely must so that the poor children can plagiarise stuff off the internet and present it as their own work for their GCSEs
4 Who pays for the ink and the paper ?
5 Who pays for repairs
6 Who pays for upgrades
7 Who in Government is now doing the thinking ? The same one who suggested marching hooligans to cash points and fining them on the spot ?
These people are very dangerous

Ok thanks Chernier - I appreciate the advice and will see what I can come up with

Lone,
What I did was email Paul on the address on the About/Contact page; I also put pieces up on the Forum.
The forums give you the opportunity to put longer pieces in, and also you can just put a link to interesting articles which would be eaten by the spam filter on Opinions.
Think about it; surely it’s time to give Pigeons a voice!

Really?
You being serious? Mail me some details

No, I’m not.
I enjoy reading your posts, Anorak has called for volunteers, and a Pigeon-eyed view of politics seems most appropriate…
Perhaps you could do a pigeon bombing run politician of the day piece; who would you most like to fly over and sh*t on, and why?

Chernier - I didn’t mean Anorak was hell - I meant the earth in general or the space that my mind seems to live in! Write for Anorak? Clued up on Politics, now you really are taking the pith

Lone!
I’m hurt; we may be somewhat eccentric but I don’t think Anorak is hell.
Anokra has been asking for people to write things; you are pretty clued up on politics, so why not give it a whirl?

Sometimes I think I live on a completely different world to everyone else, either that or I’ve died and i’m actually in hell…..

What sort of lunatic inhabits a world in which:
‘Blair understood that the people come first.’
Oh, Frank Luntz does.

Please, don’t let me get started on this……
