Quote Of The Day: Mamdouh Habib Loses His Case

habib.jpg“MAMDOUH Habib loses defamation case” against Australian’s The Daily Telegraph.

Justice Peter McClellan today ruled in favour of the media company, finding Mr Habib was “prone to exaggerate”…

Then:

Speaking outside court, Mr Habib said he would not be deterred by the ruling against his credibility and would fight “to the last drop of my blood”.

“I spent half my life in Guantanamo Bay, the rest I’m going to spend in an Australian court house.”

Mr Habib was born in Egypt and moved to Australia in 1980.

Crocodile Bay Court House, Northern Territories, Judge C. Dundee presiding, looks like the Appellate Division’s address then?

  2. 2 David Says:

    Half his life?
So how old is he? About ten?
    Seems the judge was right
