Asbestos certainly proved to be dangerous but the World Trade Centre and the lives of the thousands of people working there were largely doomed by the incompetence and rivalry of the American CIA and FBI. Twenty BILLION was spent on the intelligence services each year, and they failed right-down-the- line to prevent the attack by planes on that fateful day.The USA is forever taking measures now to stop terrorism, but just like at Pearl Harbour in 1941 they were caught with an early punch that did great damage, and exposed the vunerability(and lack of intelligence?) of the most powerful country in the world.
After a damaging leak from the shower , the whole out our lounge ceiling had to be removed and replaced , as it contained asbestos.
Not too sure about still alive, dairy, client of mine’s husband died of asbestosis, and he hadn’t been near the stuff for 30 odd years, she is also at risk of developing it too
