‘REMEMBER when Rik Waller was big?

Rik brought the house down – literally

Well, the Sun’s news is that he still is. Sure he went on that TV diet show, but his stature among the celebrity set remains undiminished by any amount of running and yoga.

Waller remains a big star, perhaps as big as Giant Haystacks was in his heyday – although not as colossal as Vanessa Feltz, who rightly remains in league of her own.

But it seems Waller was too big for the Princess Theatre in Torquay, for the Sun explains that when Waller was in da house, there was only room for two people in the stalls.

The Behind The Reality tour, in which Waller performs on stage with his band Souled As Scene, was all set to wow the good people of the Devon Riviera until tickets went on sale.

‘Sales were patchy for lots of the dates,’ says a source within the Waller camp, ‘but Torquay was the worst. Rik also axed the last two dates in Felixstowe and Birmingham.’

Waller’s decision is a blow to his fans who bought tickets, and today the Sun invite the two people who did to make themselves known to the world at large.

So come on, Darius and Gareth, if those are your real names, a fame of sorts beckons…’
