Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston & Angelina Jolie Do Dynasty

“BRAD’S FAMILY CAN’T STAND ANGELINA!”

This is the big shocker on the Enquirer’s front page. Here’s the story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, but where’s the one about Jennifer Aniston?

Has the world gone mad? The rules on Hollywood reporting clearly state that Brad and Jen are forever united in print, they are two parts of the tabloid tandem.

But the wheels have not come off. And reading on we note: “PLUS! They Beg him: GET BACK WITH JEN!”

Forget the Bermuda Triangle, this romance is more like a soap opera. Here’s blonde, good girl Jen, the people’s favourite. Hurrah! And there’s Angelina, the dark-haired witch. Hiss!

It’s the Hollywood Dynasty. Angelina’s the conniving Alexis Morell Carrington Colby Dexter Rowan (Jolie Miller Thornton Jolie) to Jen’s syrupy sweet, soft-focus Krystle Krystle Grant Jennings Carrington (Aniston Pitt Aniston).

Brad is Blake, eager to please and surrounded by a feuding family. And things boiled over at Angelina’s son Maddox’s fifth birthday party.

The Missouri Pitts (dad Bill, mum Jane, brother Doug, sister Julie and their assorted wives and children) arrived for the big do at the Jolie-Pitt’s compound in Santa Barbra, California (twined with Namibia).

A source looks on as Angelina says hello to Jen but merely nods at Bill. Nods? Or bows? Whatever it was it did not go down well and “Brad had to step in to make pace”, says the source.

And things were not aided by the refreshments on offer. The Pitts were the only ones not drinking despite their being an open bar and more jelly than you can shake a piñata stick at.

“To the Pitts, drinking in unhealthy,” says the source, “and some of them thought Angelina was intoxicated.”

The tension was palpable. And it cannot have been helped by the news that Brad is building a mansion a quarter mile from his parent’s Missouri home. (The source says this is because Angelina won’t sleep at Brad’s parents’ house.)

And in readiness for visits, Bill and Jane have already installed a nursery at their place, with “Shiloh” written in large pink letters on the wall.

And a balcony for the whole of them to tumble over…
