A Clean Weekend – Moss & Doherty Get Away
IF you marry in Thailand, where do you honeymoon?
It is the problem that may have forced Pete Doherty and Kate Moss into a “discreet” drugs unit.
In “Pete & Kate in rehab together”, the Sun looks on as the pop f*ckwit and his model lover/wife/fiancée check into the Capio Nightingale Hospital in North West London.
Registering for treatment under false names – we suggest Mr & Mrs Smith – the couple got ready for a, well, clean weekend.
The Sun looks at the clinic’s website and notes that is offers “a full range of treatments to out-patients, day-patients and in–patients in a discreet settings”.
And no-one is more ‘in’ than Pet and Kate.
And then: “All patients benefit from the attention of a well qualified, experienced multi-disciplinary team, working with them in a patient-focused way in order to expediate recovery.”
The paper then dips into the couple’s case notes. It sees Kate as she “crushed and racked up 20 lines of cocaine for herself, Doherty and his bandmates”.
It sees Doherty’s long list of troubles.
And then the doors shut. And Pete and Kate are away from prying eyes. A 12-place unit at the annexe behind the main hospital building has been cleared.
And the honeymoon begins…
