David & Victoria Beckham Adopt To The Times

OK! catches up with the Beckhams as they watch a football match at Manchester’s Old Trafford.
Long gone are those heady days when Dave wore the Manchester United red and black and visiting fans asked questions of him not fit for a family audience.
Now David wears a suit and a tie. Vicky wears diamonds and choppy blonde hair. Who would have dared to contemplate such change?
And now there is talk of a rift. But nonsense, says OK!. It hears from eyewitnesses that say “the couple were constantly stroking and hugging each other as they sat in the directors’ box.” And not only when a goal was scored but all the time.
Some may see this constant attention and grooming as based on a need to feel reassured, a physical tick on a par with the husband repeatedly saying “You alright, love” as his wife sits with a face that could set fudge.
So what about this other child. Should they try? Might as well, it being an obvious progression from so much stroking and hugging.
But their lives are busy. And half-time only lasts 15 minutes. So what about adopting?
OK! says the subject has been mooted. It was even reported, says OK!, that Vicky’s showbiz pal Jennifer Lopez put her in touch with a Mexican adoption agency.
South American is a largely untapped market for Brand Beckham. So will they woo the people down south?
Says a spokesman for the couple: “Victoria and David respect people who adopt but they’re happy with their family at the moment.”
So that’s a no, then. Back to the stroking…
