One Million Blog F*cks In China

by | 26th, April 2007

CHINA blog fact of the day comes from the appropriately named Dan Nadir, Vice President of Product Strategy at ScanSafe.

As reported, ScanSafe’s Monthly “Global Threat Report” for March 2007 says that up to 80 percent of blogs host offensive content, ranging from “adult language” to porn.

The company, natually, has the tools for sale to fight this wave of filth.

Says Nadir: “Blogs are a great vehicle for self-expression and the exchange of ideas. Employees visiting these sites can unknowingly expose corporate networks to legal liability, viruses, and loss of proprietary information.”

Ooer…

And then… “There were as many blogs with the ‘F-word’ as the word ‘China’.”

Wow, indeed…
