Government National Bee Unit Investigates Mobile Phone Buzz

by | 27th, April 2007

BEES are disappearing in Britain and the US.

In ‘Are mobile phones wiping out our bees?’ the Independent looked at scientists’ claims that radiation from mobile phone handsets is to blame for the mysterious colony collapse of bees.

But have no fear because the Government operates a National Bee Unit. You can read about it at BeeBase – the website and revised database set up in 2005 on behalf of the NBU.

Is this all media nonsense?

And if radio signals kill bees are there more bees in – conspiracy theorists have your notepads ready – America’s National Radio Quiet Zone? And do these bees walk and talk?
