DO these videos – including one of a US soldier throwing a puppy off a cliff – reveal the dehumanization of American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan?
It makes for unpleasant viewing:

Shooting a dumb animal:
Are such things unusual? Are they what war makes of you? Or are such things just part of life?
