Preserving John McCain In Barack Obama’s Bile

by | 13th, September 2008

BARACK Obama, or Team Obama, to give its Americanism, has a new advert out. Its features John McCain wearing pair of bins that used to go well with a dirty Macintosh in 70’s anti-paedo films.

You half expect a voice to come on and tell us: “Charlie says stay away from John McCain.”

Sat in his demob suit below a disco ball, his PA talking down a brick-sized phone, him trying to tune into Dallas on his outdated computer and get his withered hand around a Rubik’s Cube, McCain is old and useless.

And a voiceover:

“Things have changed in the last 26 years, but McCain hasn’t”

He hasn’t aged a day.

Forget McCain dying on the job, those electrodes to his pee hole have preserved him for eternity. In thirty years time, he’ll still look the same, albeit in Sarah Palin’s old glasses and using an iPod.

Voice over:

“He admits he still doesn’t know how to use a computer, can’t send an e-mail…”

What a loser. Bet he can’t even tie his shoelaces…

McCain’s severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes.

Another win for Obama, then, as he attacks a man who might have missed out on the computer craze because he was injured fighting for his country. He should have borrowed one of Stephen Hawking’s machines, or used a straw. He should have tried harder.

Mr Bingley wonders if it makes sense to attack your opponent on the ground of age. Especially when in 1972, Obama’s running mate Joe Biden was a US Senator in Washington while John McCain was a prisoner in Hanoi…

Obama spokesman Dan Pfeiffer said the campaign was not making an issue of the 72-year-old McCain’s age, but the time he’s spent in Washington.

Sure…

“Our economy wouldn’t survive without the Internet, and cyber-security continues to represent one our most serious national security threats,” Pfeiffer said. “It’s extraordinary that someone who wants to be our president and our commander in chief doesn’t know how to send an e-mail.”

If he did use the web, he could see how Sarah Palin is the big online hit, and that Obama is a virus
