THE SUN: “Xmas TV appeal in hunt for Maddie”

Will Kate McCann be asked to deliver the alternative Queen’s Speech on Channel 4?

A WORLDWIDE television appeal will be launched at Christmas to appeal for help in finding missing toddler Madeleine McCann. The plea is set to be fronted by a celebrity and will feature previously unseen footage of Maddie.

Have you been good little boys and girls?

Clarence Mitchell, the couple’s spokesman, said: “It is likely there will be a Christmas message – with the focus on Madeleine.”

Silent night. Holy night…

BOURNEMOUTH DAILY ECHO: “Toddler escaped from Poole play centre”

Claire Mason thought her son Jack was safe at Monkey Bizness at Tower Park, Poole, but the toddler managed to leave the play area, pass reception, go down a flight of stairs and get out of the building.

The little Monkey. Maybe he’s in Lapland, also in Dorset?

Mum-of-one Claire, 33, from Branksome, said: “He [Jack] was found heading towards the car park with no shoes or coat on. Anything could have happened – it’s awful, but you think of Madeline McCann. You don’t know what weirdoes are out there.”

Not to mention parents, and monkeys.

Lyndsey Fisher, general manager, at Monkey Bizness Poole, vows:

“We are also going to install the latest technology swipe card system. This will make us one of the safest family entertainment centres in the country.”

There will be full background checks on all parents using the facility and the removal of Glitter Bins.

EURO WEEKLY NEWS: “NEW POSTER OF MADELEINE”

Madeleine McCanns’s family believe a new picture of the missing four-year-old could play a vital role in the search for her. The photo shows clearly her distinctive right eye where the pupil runs into the blue-green iris.

Like the old picture in the Brand McCann armoury.

It is this distinguishing mark that will identify Madeleine to those on the lookout for her, according to aunt and uncle John and Diane McCann…

Mrs McCann said: “The purpose of the poster is to highlight the distinction in Madeleine’s eye. “We want to make the most of it, because we know her hair could potentially be cut or dyed.”

The new poster looks just like the old poster.

Madeleine McCann is missing. Still missing…
