David Vine, the inimitable voice of Ski Sunday for almost 20 years, has died at the age of 73.

Vine will forever be synonymous with wintry Sunday afternoons spent on the Anorak sofa, not to mention the snooker and many other sports, as well as programmes like Superstars, Miss World and It’s A Knockout.
