British long jumper leaps naked from house roof
YES, you did read that headline right.
A British long jumper has been released from police custody after leaping naked from the roof of a house in South Africa. According to The Times:
“Jonathan Moore, who was described as being in a trance-like state, climbed on to the roof of the house in Potchefstroom, spread his arms out and jumped as Lappies Labuschagne, the owner of the property, watched in a state of shock.
His fall, which was estimated at between six and seven metres, was broken when he hit the canopy of Mr Labuschagne’s Ford Bantam pick-up truck.”
Moore is reported to have travelled back to London on Sunday night, and he’ll now undergo psychatric evaluation, poor chap.
