Man Robs Porn Shop Dressed In Cape And Brandishing Wood Sword
DAVID William Hadeen is in Sacramento’s L’amour Shoppe for adults, onanists and browsers.
David William Hadeen is dressed in a cape. Hadeen is also wearing an American flag sequin hat, green shirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes.
Anorak imagines the cape to be beige, a bit dirty and rainproof. David William Hadden might well be in disguise.
Davis William Hadeen has got wood. David William Hadeen has a 2-3ft long wood sword. He brandishes it in the “sexual enhancing devices” section.
He, allegedly, picks up a device worth about $200 and with a threatening wave of his wand in the clerk’s face makes off.
A call to the police.
Says officer Von Schoech:
“Officers checked the area for the suspect and observed a man matching the description.”
Hadeen was still wearing the cape and hat, when arrested. The sword was lying on the ground, along with the apparatus, which appeared to have been opened.
One cannot help but view this as a crime of passion and a cry for help.
Your writer recalls working in a newsagent in Hackney many years ago and being approched by a smartly turned out gent who placed a pile of magazines on the counter. It was the usual stuff, and in the midst of the heap was a copy of Razzle.
On top was Aviation Monthly, and our customer, to keep conversation frothy and buiness like, inquired if he could take out a subscription. He could. Details were taken. Name and address. The act of daring – the porno mag – was now becoming somehting more dreadful.
Two days later the avid reader returned – in person – to cancel his subscription.
