Comic Relief Does the Celebrity Death Cull: Cheryl Cole’s Near Death

by | 5th, March 2009

DAY three of Comic Relief Does the Celebrity Death Cull and Cheryl Cole is in a “death scare”.

She and the other celebrities have been “caught in a life-or-death rescue attempt on the killer mountain” – Mount Killer-manjaro.

Cheryl, Alesha Dixon (she lives!) and Chris Moyles “were left in tears after seeing a fellow walker close to death after collapsing from altitude sickness”.

Van Outen? Fern Cotton?

Says Cheryl:

“He looked scared, really frightened, and it shook all of us up.”

He? Ronan Keating?Noooooooooooooooo!

The news reaches us via The Daily Spot, which moves its finger off the flies to press it to the celebrity pulse (up a bit, bit more, bit more, more…).

But Cheryl is in pain. As the Press Association tells us:

Cheryl Cole gets altitude sadness

Perspective:

Cheryl Cole has found the altitude of the Mount Kilimanjaro trek makes her emotional.

Says her Girls Aloud pal Kimberley Walsh:

“This is hard, the walking is tough, but the altitude makes you feel so different. It was great to climb so high today but to see that man looking so panicked was horrible. I’m so glad we are all here to support one another, it would be impossible otherwise.”

See the an in mortal dread. See the celebs in a group hug. The pain of seeing someone in pain is well, painful.

And they walk on.

And a red mist descends… on Ashley Cole.
