JADE Goody: Anorak’s at-a-glance look at Jade Goody’s death, with George Galloway…

Glasgow Daily Record: “I Won’t Be Silenced By Canadian Tories”

It’s George Galloway.

BEING called a “street corner Cromwell” might in Galway or Cork be quite an insult.

But even Jade might have known that Oliver Cromwell is principally remembered as the champion of parliamentary supremacy and the hammer of autocracy and arbitrary power.

Glasgow Daily Record: “Jade Is Gone But Not Forgotten”

It’s George Galloway on Jade…

Jade Goody, aged just 27, and the mother of two young boys, blazed across the British skies like a comet and has now expired.

She was “ignorant” in her own words to Max Clifford, who did a good job for her, by the way.

But she was not untypical in that. There are sadly many people in this country who don’t know East Anglia is not an island, or who the Chancellor of the Exchequer is.

And Cromwell..?

Respect MP George Galloway will be turned away at the border if he tries to enter Canada because of his outspoken views risk national security.

Mr Galloway, who was due to visit Toronto to deliver his speech Resisting War from Gaza to Kandahar on 30th March, will use “all means at our disposal” to fight the ban, said a spokesperson.

Reports claim the Canadian authorities decided that, given his strong anti-war position, a visit from the Bethnal Green and Bow MP would be too much of a security risk while Canadian troops are still fighting in Afghanistan –
