Michael Jackson Changed His Name To Runaway Lad For New Song
MICHAEL Jackson Watch: Jackson’s changed his name to Runaway Lad and in a bid to wrest the title of Most Prolific Corpse In Showbiz from rapper Tupac Shakur (listen out for the duet) kicks off with a new song A Place Without No Name.
The corporate gossip website TMZ.com claims the 25-second snippet of the track, entitled A Place Without No Name, is Jackson singing a tune not that dissimilar to America’s Horse With No Name.
Conspiracy theorists will love it. Jackson dead? Jackson flogging a dead horse? Jackson changed his name to Lester Piggott?
The Daily Express leads with: “Why is Jackson’s body still in a freezer?”
Has Jackson died or just retreated from public, waiting to be thawed in the sun?
After two days in the desert sun
My skin began to turn red
Says America’s manager Jim Morey.
“The band was honoured that Michael chose to do their song and they hope it becomes available for all Michael’s fans to hear.”
The ocean is a desert with its life underground
And a perfect disguise above
Under the cities lies a heart made of ground
But the humans will give no love
Mr Morey cares. And what chance that the song that inspired Jackson’s first post-funeral release should be leaked?
Mr Morey was also Jackson’s manager in the late 1980s and early 1990s, according to TMZ.com.
What are the odds? Re-release the hounds of love. And take him away:
You see I’ve been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert you can remember your name
Cause there ain’t no-one for to give you no pain
La, la …
LA, LA, LA, LA, LA, LA,
I’m alive and I live in LA…
