Krankies Return To Glasgow Stage And Thanks Anorak (ANORAK!)

THE Krankies are back. Wee Jimmy Krankie and his handler Ian Tough will return to the stage for the Glasgow Pantomime.

Krankies fans will recall that in 2004, 62-yer-old Janette Tough, Jimmy Krankie’s stage name, fell from mechanical beanstalk and fractured her skull during a performance of Jack and the Beanstalk at the Pavilion Theatre.

The fairy was unable to put Jimmy back together and doctors were forced to step in.
Wee Jimmy and Ian will return in Aladdin at the Clyde Auditorium, playing the part of Chinese policemen to Mr John Barrowman’s Aladdin.

The Krankies are dear friends of Anorak. Indeed it was Old Mr Anorak’s appearance at Wee Jimmy’s school at five to five every Friday that triggered the childhood scream

ANORAK”, to which everyone would scream – still louder – “ANORAK!
