FIRST they took in the UK’s gullible investors. Then they took their money and kept it and are reneging on agreements to pay it back. Now Iceland has taken Scottish airspace.

All major Scottish airports were hit when vast areas of airspace were closed at midnight last night (14/04/10) because of the plume of volcanic ash and glass particles drifting into Scots’ air space from the erupting Icelandic volcano – which is under a glacier.

According to the Scotsman no-one is able to predicted how long the cloud – capable of stopping jet engines – is likely to be around, or how long airports will will be forced to halt flights.

A huge military exercise planned for North West Scotland could also be affected.
