Man Not Gay Enough For Sex Shop Sues

by | 25th, April 2010

MICHAEL Beaton, a plumber by training, is not gay enough for Suzie’s Adult Superstore in California. He works there. Or he did. But Mr Beaton was fired for being too straight.

But above all Mr Michael Beaton is American, and as is the American way, he is suing Suzie’s Adult Superstore. Says he:

“I was a security guard, cleaned up the premises, and did a little loss prevention work.”

He applied for a sales job on the shop floor.

“I did the test. I did really good on the test, and a couple of months had gone by, and then I had gone back to the manager and asked him what was the deal. I was told flat out that I wasn’t the ‘gay boy’ they were looking for; they were looking for someone who was more gay.”

If a plumber can be a sex store stockist, can’t he be a gay one, too?

Beaton also alleges that he was made to clean areas of the building designed for people to have sex. In Sacramento County, we learn, that sex inside a sex store is illegal.

Sex in shop is illegal? What about if the shop is closed and the manager wants to induct the new recruit? Or I the shop says Anorak’s own-brand ComfiSlax ™ trouser for the timeless gentleman and a study is being conducted? Just say…
