Judge Bans Man From Playing Golf

by | 13th, May 2010

PAUL Maskell, of Clacton, has been banned from playing golf for three months. Judge Anthony Goldstaub QC, says 21-year old Maskell is guilty of knocking a man unconscious during an incident, in Chelmsford, on February 22.

Maskell earns a six-month jail sentence, suspended for two years, an order to pay £2,000 compensation and costs, a weekend curfew from 9pm to 2am and an “activity requirement” banning him from going to any golf courses or golf clubs for the next three months.

We do not know if Mr Maskell ever played golf in the first place, but wouldn’t a better punshiment be making him spend three months living in a golf club?
