St Paul’s Cathedral Holds Minute’s Silence For England’s World Cup Team

by | 19th, June 2010

TO the Annual Service of the Order of St John at St Paul’s Cathedral, where the priest – the Rt Revd John Nicholls (Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St John) and former Bishop of Sheffield – is ordering a minute’s silence for England’s World Cup team. A reader writers:

Bob went to the annual St John Day service at St Pauls, and after the laying off of the Banners of the deceased senior members of the Priory of England of St John ( a very sombre moment) the priest got up to give the sermon and called for a minutes silence, after which he said ‘That was for Englands performance last night’

Yep. England do have a prayer…
