THAT was the week when 8-month-old Landina Seignon was reunited with her mother Marie Miracle Seignon, 26, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London seven months after the child was pulled from the rubble of the Haiti earthquake.

Marie Miracle Seignon thought her daughter was dead after the hospital where Landina was being treated for burns collapsed in the devastating earthquake.

Landina Seignon, a 3-month old victim of the Haiti earthquake, has successfully undergone a life-saving operation at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, after she was brought to the UK by the charity 'Facing the World'. She is the first Haitian child to be brought to the UK.
