Manchester Police ‘Collide’ Confiscated Mitsubishi Evo With 2 Front Gardens

by | 3rd, September 2010

IN Manchester, two local policemen who confiscated a yellow Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII in Hale because the owners were driving it erratically…crashed it.

The wooden tops saw the 23-year-old driver and suspected him guilty of drink-driving. Traffic police were called and they arrested the man.

The two officers then got into the Evo and drove along Hale Road.

The policeman drove the car into the gardens of two luxury homes, where it rolled it on to its side.

The police spokesman delivers a wonderful summary:

“Following the arrest of the driver, officers drove the vehicle from the scene. The car then collided with two front gardens.”

The front gardens just stepped out without indicating, yer honour.

Neither officer was badly hurt. But you drivers should take it as a warning that you might not be so lucky. So think on.

Officers with Greater Manchester Police’s professional standards unit are investigating.

The officers have been suspended from driving duties “with immediate effect”.
