THAT Plot to kill the Pope – he was going to be blown him up – was just a “joke”.

So says the Mirror of the London street cleaners who had no guns, no bombs and no links to terrorist NGOs.

“Street cleaners overheard having laugh in canteen.”

No. Make that “Muslim” street cleaners having a laugh in a canteen. Which means it’s a huge deal.

And it also means that when we wondered if the arrests had been timed to coincide with Johnathan Evans’ (he’s the head of MI5) announcement that an Islamist-led attack on the London Olympics was a dead cert unless he was given more resources, we were on to something…
