The report by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office says officers pulled over the vehicle Mark Fiasco and Matthew Hawley were travelling in.
Fiasco, 23, was aked if he had any drugs in the vehicle. He said, “no.” Police did not take him at his word and search the car, finding 29.3 grams of marijuana in the boot. they also fond a bong inside a plastic shopping bag.
Both men admitted the weed was theirs. Fiasco then said he had been looking for the bong for the past seven years. he todl polcie he had paid $150 for it and had assumed it had bene stolen.
Fiasco has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with the intent to use and failure to change an address on a licence.
