Students Hang Nick Clegg Effigy: Photos

STUDENTS massed at a place guaranteed to get them a sympathetic ear: outside the Guardian and Observer newspaper offices where Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg was giving the annual Hugo Young Lecture. That’s Clegg in the noose. Well, ok, it’s a likeness the students in balaclavas had erected to prove a point. The crowd chanted:

“Nick Clegg, shame on you, shame on you for turning blue.”
