Charlie Gilmour Is Banned From Westminster

by | 25th, March 2011

CHARLIE Gilmour, the son of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour, has been at Westminster Magistrates Court, to answer questions about the attack on the royal convoy of cars during a student fees protest.

Gilmour is the berth blocker, a spoilt platoon who has dabbled in modelling and journalism, and studies history at Cambridge – yet claims to have no idea what the Cenotaph is.

Why do the Sados (Sons and daughters of stars) always get to model?

It is alleged that Gilmour sat on the bonnet of a car carrying armed royal protection officers as Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla motored the short distance to the Royal Variety performance.

It is also alleged that Gilmour tossed a rubbish bin at the convoy, and that it hit a car.

The case will be heard at Southwark Crown Court on April 26. In the meanwhile, Gilmour is banned from entering the City of Westminster without approval.

So. That Mayfair pied-à-terre will have to wait…
