Police Make EDL V Blackburn Anti-Racists An All Ticket Affair
ONLY 3,000 people will be allowed to attend the English Defence League v BADUAR (Blackburn and Darwen Unite Against Racism) in Blackburn this Saturday.
As reader Karen asks:
How the hell are they going to impose that? Tickets only?
She adds:
They’re shutting off the roads around Blackburn town centre on the main shopping day, which means less money for all the traders and probably no car park revenue and we’ll also have the privilege of paying for the bloody policing.
It should be interesting though because of the large muslim community in Blackburn. The EDL should be outnumbered, which means they’ve already thought of that and will probably send more protesters.
How many police will be on duty to keep the numbers in order..?
